Description

It is a hike to dive in the wilderness for several consecutive days. Itinerant marches between valleys with raiding slopes on which cling Berber villages and terraced fields. The Berber villagers, mostly farmers, have kept the same art of living for centuries.

Day by day

  • Day 01: Reception at the airport of Marrakech - Overnight at the hotel or riad
    Whatever your time of arrival, a member of RedaTrekMaroc welcomes you. Beforehand, all you have to do is specify your flight details: arrival time, origin and flight number. In the case of delay, it is imperative to report it by SMS. Night at the hotel or riad in bed and breakfast formula.
  • Day 02: Marrakech, Ourika Valley (1500 m) and Timichi (1950 m) - 5h hiking and 1h30 drive - Night in gite
    After our transfer from Marrakech to the Ourika valley, we arrive at the village of Setti Fadma. We find our team of muleteers. We start our hike by going up a wide path. After our lunch break, we continue our walk by crossing several Berber villages (Anfli, Tiourdiwe and Izougoughen), until the arrival at our cottage in Timichi village.

  • Day 03: Timichi (1950 m), Col Tacheddirt (3170 m) and Tacheddirt (2200 m) - 6h hiking - Night in gite
    We leave early in the morning after breakfast for a hike to the village of Iaabbassen, direction Col Tacheddirt, where we enjoy the panoramic view of some valleys of the Toubkal massif and the surrounding peaks. Then we descend without difficulty to reach our gite in the village of Tacheddirt.

  • Day 04: Tacheddirt, Imnane valley and Imi Oughlad (1400 m) - 4h30 hiking - Night in gite
    We descend by a very little footpath, passing through typical villages: Ouaneskra, Tamesguidt, Ikiss, Amssakrou and Arg. After a lunch break at the edge of the river under the walnut trees, near the village of Imeskar, we cross the Tizi n'Bourg (1500 m), with a breathtaking view of the various valleys, villages and villages. 4,000 "from the High Atlas. We dine and spend the night in a cottage in the village of Imi Oughlad.

  • Day 05: Imi Oughlad, Tacht pass (2200 m), Azzaden valley and Tizi Oussem (1950 m) - 4h hiking - Night in gite
    We start our day with a climb between green oaks and red juniper trees to reach the Tizi N'Tacht pass at 2,000 meters. After the pass, the contrast between the green valleys and the arid mountains that dominate them is still striking. We cross many villages in the Azzaden valley. We spend the night at the gite in Tizi Oussem.

  • Day 06: Tizi Oussem (1950 m), Mezik pass (2490 m) and Ait Souka (1900 m) - 4h hiking - Night in gite
    Our hike continues through the climb to the azibs (bergerie in Berber) of Tamssoulte by a path between the juniper trees, to visit the waterfalls of Ighouliden. We head to the valley of Aït Mizane, via the Tizi-n-m'zik (2490 m). At the pass, the slopes of Toubkal and Oukaïmedem mountain appear. We arrive at the village of Ait Souka where we spend the night in the gite.

  • Day 07: Ait Souka and Marrakech - 1h30 drive - Overnight at hotel or riad
    After breakfast on the terrace of the cottage, we return to Marrakech to arrive late morning. Accommodation in Marrakech is at the hotel or riad. Afternoon and free evening in the red city where mix wonderfully, culture, crafts and entertainment of all kinds.
