Day by day
Day 01: Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Skoura, Galaa M'gouna, Dadès and Todgha gorges We leave Marrakech in the morning by the road to Ouarzazate. We pass by the Tichka pass (2260 m), then we take the road that leads to Ait Ben Haddou crossing Berber villages of the Atlas. We visit Ait Ben Haddou, the most beautiful representation of Ksar, a fortified village built according to the pre-Saharan tradition. This site is World Heritage by UNESCO since 1987. We go to Ouarzazate for lunch. We continue our journey by crossing a track for 20 km and reach the palm grove of Skoura. We visit the magnificent kasbah of Amridil. We leave in the direction of Galaa M'gouna the city of roses, crossing the Berber villages. We stop to discover the discovery of the water of roses via a still. We take a track to the Dades gorges in Boumalne. We take the opportunity to admire the Todgha Gorge and green gardens. It often happens to meet nomads and their flocks of goats on the way. We dine and spend the night in the gorge.
Day 02: Gorges Todgha, Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga We leave by taking the road of Erfoud famous for its fossilized marbles. We pass by Rissani, former capital of Tafilalet. We are heading towards the desert of Merzouga. Arrived at the foot of the dunes, we continue our camel ride for two hours to reach our camp located in the middle of Erg Chebbi. We enjoy the sunset sipping a mint tea. Dinner is followed by an animation. We spend the night under the tent or under the stars.
Day 03: Merzouga, Tazzarine, Agdez and Marrakech We leave the desert of Merzouga towards Tazzarine, through the desert and mountainous landscapes. We follow the oases and kasbahs to the Drâa Valley through n'koub, Tansikht. We go down to the green wadi Drâa in Agdez. We cross the earthen villages and green cultures going up Draa to Ouarzazate. We have lunch and leave for Marrakech.
