Day by day
Day 01: Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou and the Dades Gorge (345 km) We leave early morning from Marrakech via the Tichka Pass (2260m), then following the road that leads to Ait Ben Haddou through the Berber villages of the Atlas. Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou and visit the Kasbah. We have lunch on the spot. By the track, we reach the palm grove of Skoura via Ouarzazate. We visit the magnificent kasbah of Amridil. We leave in the direction of the Valley of the roses, crossing the Berber villages, then the Dades gorges while passing in Boumalne. We continue by contemplating the gorges without forgetting the meeting of nomads and their flocks of goats. We dine and spend the night at the hotel in the Dades Gorge.
Day 02: Dades Gorge, Erfoud and Merzouga (265 km) After breakfast, we go to the Todra Gorge an hour walk in the Tinghir Valley, we take the road to Merzouga, through Tinjdad, Erfoud and its famous fossilized marbles. We cross Rissani, former capital of Tafilalet to take the track to Merzouga, a Moroccan city located in the Sahara Desert, near the Algerian border. Arrived at the foot of the dunes, we ride camel to get to the bivouac Erg Chebbi. We enjoy the sunset: mint tea, dinner, evening entertainment and night under the tent or under the stars.
Day 03: Merzouga, Drâa Valley and Ouarzazate (470 km) We leave in the morning through Rissani (cradle of the Alawite dynasty) crossing the huge mountain Bougafer. We have lunch at N'kob (first village of Drâa). We join the road of the thousand kasbahs. Arrival in Ouarzazate at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Ouarzazate, Kasbah Taourirt and Marrakech (205 km) After breakfast, we go to visit the city of Ouarzazate, the kasbah of Taourirt and the movie studios. We take the road through the village of Merzgane and the village of Ighrem. We have lunch at Tadarte then we leave for Marrakech.
